We offer Childcare Apprenticeships. These involve hands on practical training in a job alongside studying. Early Years Apprenticeships take 1 to 2 years to complete and our Apprentices are given the opportunity to gain skills, work alongside experienced members of the team and study towards an early years qualification, all whilst earning a wage

We want our team to reach their full potential, which is why we provide learning opportunities to grow with us. From Level 2 & 3 Early Years Qualifications, through to First Aid Training, Food Hygiene and more….

We understand that the ‘normal’ full time working week doesn’t work for everyone, which is why we provide flexibility, so you have the option to work half days around your commitments. Rather than working across 5 days Monday to Friday, our full-time team have the option to work 4 longer days, or 3 longer days and 2 half days on a flexible basis each week. These options are very popular with our team members as it enables them to spend time with family, enjoy hobbies or book appointments, all helping with a healthy work-life balance.

As well as our full-time team, we are lucky enough to be able to offer part-time roles at Boys & Girls. These roles are flexible with reduced days and hours or can be supporting our team at a busy time of the day, lunch-time! A great option for those with school drop off and pick up commitments!

For those looking for work on a week by week basis, our relief team may be the answer!

Your holiday allowance starts at 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays (based on full time employees). This will increase with length of service, accruing up to an extra 5 days holiday. You will also receive your birthday off after 2 years service! We close at 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, so our team can spend time with their families without the need to use annual leave allowance – you will still be paid your normal working hours for these days even though you are not at work.

You will automatically be enrolled into a pension scheme with Nest, in line with government guidelines. You have the option to increase your contributions should you wish!

We offer an amazing 50% childcare discount on nursery fees for your children plus 10% discount on nursery fees for one other family member!

We want to recognise those who go above and beyond in their role, which is why each nursery nominate a team player of the quarter who will receive a voucher in recognition of their hard work. We also do regular ‘shout outs’ to share the great work our teams do.

If you refer a child to Boys & Girls, or a new member to the team, you will earn a referral award (t&c’s apply).

From days out to holidays, every member of the team has access to the ChildCare Club to help save £££’s!

We value the connections made within the Boys & Girls team, which is why we organise Summer and Christmas events to help create lasting friendships and memories!

Our on-site experienced nursery chefs prepare freshly cooked meals every day not just for our children to enjoy, but also our team!
